People
Both non-payroll and payroll employees are managed within the system. For payroll employees, data that is created or updated within Payroll will automatically be reflected in Human Resources. Significant dates and reminders can be stored to prompt when an important event is pending or occurs. Dates and reminders may be recurring or a once-only event such as employee probationary periods. Employee personal details, photographs, medical details, professional associations along with their skills and competencies are just some of the information managed by Meridian HR. The module also enables the creation of unlimited additional fields in the size and format required.
OHS&W
Meridian HR provides the tools to assist with the daily management of OH&S. Details of accidents, incidents and near-misses are stored in the system along with persons involved (employee or non employee), costs, lost time and rehabilitation details.
A complete history of the claim is also stored within the system. Doctors’ reports, photographs, site maps and correspondence can all be assigned to a specified
incident record.
The rehabilitation facility tracks details of the status of the person involved the new review date, medical certificates and return to work information.
Recruitment
Meridian HR assists your HR department with the recruitment process. From identifying a vacant position through to managing the interview process and then promoting the applicants to employees, Meridian HR tracks the entire process and maintains critical history.
The Applicants facility tracks all details relating to candidates including contact details, recruitment source, overall ratings, referees and interview schedule. Additional documents can be stored against each applicant, for example resume, medical results and photographs.
Salary Packages
Meridian HR delivers a simple, easy-to-use salary packaging solution to assist in the assembly and restructuring of an employee’s income.
The salary structure’s components can include both payroll and non-payroll components, for example, mobile phone; car allowance; vehicle; computers; and superannuation (company or salary sacrifice).
Data entered into Meridian HR can be integrated directly into the Payroll system.
Skills & Training
Meridian HR helps you to manage the training and development of staff skills that assists the organisation to leverage their workforce, reduce staff turnover and protect intellectual capital.
When creating a training course within Meridian HR you can capture comprehensive information, including course provider, training method, course duration, cost per head, objectives, skills and competencies, expenses and more.
Once a person has completed a training course their record will be updated with the appropriate skills and competencies.
Organisational Charts
Meridian HR provides an organisational charting tool that graphically represents the structure of your organisation. The chart is populated through drag-and-drop functionality and employee photographs can be displayed if desired.
When positions become vacant within the organisational chart, they are automatically captured within Recruitment in order for the position to be filled if appropriate – thus ensuring recruitment lead times are kept to a minimum and the company’s workforce numbers are optimised.
